 아이들을 위한 축복기도

 

얼마 전에도 소개했지만 다시 한 번 더 자녀를 위한 축복기도를 소개합니다.

 

“하나님 우리 00 어제도 잠 잘 자고 일어나게 해 주셔서감사합니다. 우리 예수님께서 십자가에서 00의 죄와 슬픔과 고통을 다 못박고 이제 부활하셔서 의와 평화와 기쁨을 주셔서 감사합니다. 오늘도 성령님 안에서 풍성한 생명을 누리도록 도와 주세요. 공부할 때 지혜와 호기심과 흥미를 주시고, 주위 친구들을 사랑하고 예수님의 복음을 전하게 해 주세요. 모든 위험한 일에서 지켜 주시고 힘든 일 만나더라도 참고 이겨내도록 도와 주세요. 우리 00가 있기 때문에 주위 사람이 (학교 갈 때는 00 학교가) 복을 받고, 앞으로 자라서 미국과 한국과 세계와 주님의 교회를 크게 섬기는 종이 되게 해 주세요. 예수님의 이름으로 기도합니다. 아멘”

 

저희 집에는 조카들이 방학 중에 몇 명 더 와 있어서 매일 7명에게 기도해 줍니다. 교회에서 새벽 기도 중에, 아이들 일어날 시간이면 집으로 전화를 하여 한 명씩 기도합니다. 같은 기도로 계속 해도 제게는 힘들지 않고 오히려 힘이 납니다.

축복기도는 아이들의 하루를 밝게 시작하게 합니다. 하나님은 약속하신 대로 이 기도를 들으셔서 우리 아이들을 축복해 주실 것을 믿습니다.

아빠들이 출근할 때, 아이들 손을 잡고 이렇게 기도해 주시기를 권합니다. 가능한 아침에는 축복기도를, 저녁에는 가족이 함께 성경을 읽으며 아이들에게 영적인 양식을 공급해 주십시오.

우리 성도들 한 분 한 분을 향한 저의 기도도 대개 위와 같은 기도입니다. 가정교회 모임이나, 서로를 위한 기도에서도 이런 축복 기도가 넘치기 바랍니다.

Blessing for our Children

 

I mentioned this before, however, I want to introduce it to you again.

 

“Dear God, thank you that you helped my daughter 000 to get up well after a good sleep last night. Thank you that our Jesus nailed sin, sorrow, and pain of 000 on the cross; that you gave to my daughter 000 righteousness, peace, and joy when you resurrected. Help  her enjoy abundant life in the Holy Spirit. When she will study, please, give her wisdom, curiosity, and fun. Help her to love her friends and share the gospel with them. Protect her from all dangers, and when he meets difficulties, help her to overcome them with patience. Let her friends (school: during school days) be blessed because of her. Help her to be A good servant serving well Korea, America, the world, and your church. In Jesus name. Amen.”

 

Every morning I pray for seven children, including three nephews and niece who are staying with us during summer vacation. During my early morning prayer time, I call to my home and pray for each one of them. Even though I repeat almost same prayer every morning, I feel being uplifted, instead of being bored.

The prayer of blessing helps children to begin everyday with hope. I believe that God will bless them in response to my prayer

I recommend fathers to hold hands with children and pray for them. Morning prayer of blessing and evening family Bible reading time will provide children with spiritual food.

The prayer for our members is similar to the prayer of blessing for the children. I hope that we pray with blessing in our home church meeting and other meetings.
